Hi, the Muir Academy was the first adult "school" and has been in existence for more than 20 years. As a Disciplinarian who has attended both schools, my perspective probably won't be what you are looking for, but will hopefully help a little when I say the Muir Academy is excellent for those who want a more authentic experience, whilst Westgate is more a 'fun' day if that makes sense? Feel free to PM me if you want more information, although please be aware I don't check the boards every day!

Lady Pandora, is Westgate more of a School for girls with Female teachers whereas Muir Academy caters for men and women? Or am I completely wide of the mark here?

I think daddyabc is referring to a "play" school and Framaur the real thing. I am fascinated to hear any more tales of seared tails. I got slipper, cane and (a junior) cricket bat in my day at real school, but rarely.
